Couponing to Christmas

Here is my idea I want to get my Thanksgiving Dinner for $15.00 or under I will be sharing my success or Failure with you. I want the whole meal for under $15.00 lets see if I can make this Goal and Help you gals get there too... So I will be posting on how to do this when I find the deals each week. My other Goal is to get toys and pillow pets for my kids using Rewards from Drug stores. I will show you how I am doing this. I have collected $90 dollars of Target Gift Cards from deals and Prescriptions That I am saving for Christmas and am still collecting. I wanted to share these ideas with you to make your Christmas money stretch farther.

Sorry Gals

I am so sorry I have not posted for awhile. I ended up in the hospital for a week with two surgeries, due to kidney stones. I am on the mend but still not feeling well so please forgive my lack of posts. Give me a week or two and I will be up on my feet again and posting away. My head is in the clouds with pain medicine and just plain feeling yucky. Hope to catch up in a week or so

I am so excited about this Deal!!!! There was a coupon 2 weeks back for Oil of Olay buy 2 moisturizers get an eye serum Roller ball for FREE. so I bought 2 moisturizers for 8.99 each used 2 $1.00 off moisturizer coupon from same paper, and the buy 2 moisturizers get Roller Ball for Free coupon. So the store sale is buy one Oil of Olay get one 50% off. Oh and the Roller eye ball thingy is $21.99. Then I bought an EOS Lip Balm for $2.99 just to get my total over $10.00 So I could use my $10 UP rewards from last week Grand total out of Pocket after $5.00 off $25.00 Rite Aid coupon My $10 UP reward and my 3 manufacturers coupons was $2.78. Yeah tax was more than my total!!! I then got a $10 Up reward at the end of my receipt!!! To top this Deal off you can submit for a $2.00 SCR at Rite Aid .com This was an Amazing Deal. The cashier was taking notes she said she was going to look for the same coupons!! Coupon swap

Who's up for a coupon Swap??? I am thinking Saturday Oct 2nd. Let me know if you are up to this?? I was thinking we could have it at my house...Bring coupons you won't use and I will add my huge collection of coupons!!! I have them everywhere in my house due to my little ones getting a hold of some and stuffing them everywhere. I was thinking everyone bring a snack to share and I will make some lunch!!! Target Fun

Ok girls this was a fun day at Target. I had $1.00 off coupons for Garnier Conditioner that was on clearance for $1.48. I paid $.48 for each conditioner. I also had a $1.00 off coupon on Post It label tape and since I HAVE SUCH A STOCK PILE AND I LOVE TO BE ORGANIZED, and it was on clearance for $1.18 I figured I would try it. Then all my Glade was $6.49 and I had $3.00 off manufacturer coupon and $3.00 off Target coupons. That's $.49 for an air freshener. Stock pile for the time in between sales. Little story for you; When I first started this coupon craziness I got some AirWick fresheners for Free. I got 5 or 6 and they have lasted me until now. I also gave some to friends. So the last time they were on sale I stocked up and they lasted until this sale.

The Huggies wipes are a stock up price too. They are on sale for $1.99 each then I had a coupon for $2.50 off 3 pkgs and 3 Target coupons for $.75 off a tub. I got each tub for $.49. The Febreeze set and refresh will vary by store but they are on sale for $2.50 to $1.99. There is a Target coupon for $.75 off and a manufacturers coupon for $1.00 off that I got from the newspaper that had the P&G ad at the beginning of the month. The Pictionary game was $13.00 and I had a $4.00 off coupon and the Q tips I had a $1.00 off Target coupon and$1.00 off manufacturers coupon. My Grand total was $21.00 with Tax. I did splurge. My son really wants this game and it cost me $9.00 after coupon which made up half my bill. Then again Christmas is right around the corner.

Toys R Us Deal

So yesterday, I went to Toys R Us and scored: Scrabble, Monopoly, Sorry, and a Lego Robot Game for $11.98. How I did this was with the $5 dollars off $25 purchase coupon. I gave this one to the cashier first. Then I gave him 3 $4 off coupons for the games, I got these off the internet. I am pretty sure the coupons are over, not expired, but no more prints available so if you did print them earlier this is the time to use them. So the games are on sale this week for $7.99 then buy 2 get one free. All in all I scored since the Lego game was 11.99 and my oldest son loves Legos.

Rite Aid Deals

I had fun at Rite Aid today. I bought 3 Huggies Pure and Naturals diapers for 8.99 each and had 3 $3.00 off coupons bringing them to $5.99 each = $18.00 I then did the video ads on Rite Aid .com for my husband and I and we got 2 $1.00 off Rite Aid coupons =$16.00 used $5.00 off $25 purchase coupon ( I used this coupon First when my total was the highest) bringing it to $11.00 then I had Up rewards from the last deal at Rite aid and got the Diapers for Free plus $6.00 up rewards and submitted for the $10 Gift card if you purchase $25.00 huggies. Yeah!!! I made my up rewards that I spent plus sum. My next deal was Oral B tooth brushes I bought 12 and used 6 buy one get one free coupon, then I used 6 .75 cents off coupons bringing my total to 10.14 used 8 up rewards bringing it to 2.14 the tax and used my gift card from a previous reward to pay the tax. and I received 4 up rewards back and submitted for the oral health rebate $10 gift card!!!

Safeway has some good deals going on this week!!!
*PF Chang meals in Freezer section @4.99 if you buy 5 and then in this last Sundays paper there was a coupon for $2.00 off = $2.99
* Pop Secret Safeway coupon for $.99 cents a box and I had a coupon for$1.00 off 2 box =$.50 a box
*Campbells cooking soups like cream of chicken and others are on sale for $1.00 and there where$.55 cent peelies on them = $.45 cents
* sweet moments by Pillsbury are $2.50 and there are $1.00 off e coupons and $1.50 manufacturers coupons= Free
* Kraft cheese slices are $1.99 if you buy 5 and there is the Kraft $5.00 off 5 manufacturers coupon =$.99 cents a pkg
These are about the best buys I found!!
P.S. I bought a lot of the P.F changs since we need dinners in a Rush sometimes and used 2 last night...YUMMY very good and easy open bag and cook on stove done 10 minutes later the rice took longer to cook.

$.49 CENT GLADE AND MORE

I was hoping we in Sacramento would be lucky enough to get the Target Sense and Spray coupons and we did so if you combine this with the coupon from 8/22 ss for $3.00 off you will get it for $.49. Yeah!! There is also a Target coupon for SoftSoap $1.00 off and I know I have seen plenty of manufacturers coupons for Softsoap. So as I go through my coupons I will report back with more deals to be SCORED!!!

Target Deals

So I found Danamials yogurt on sale at Target 2 for $3.00 and I had some $1.00 off coupons from the paper which made it $1.00 for 2 yogurts. Another heads up is a Febreeze air freshener there was a coupon in smart source from 2 weeks ago for $.75 of Set and Refresh air freshener it is a Target coupon. I happened to find a manufacturers coupon for $1.00 off in the P& G insert from the same paper combine those for a savings of $1.75 off I happened to find them on clearance at Target Rocklin for $2.24 and some other scents regular priced $2.99 went to Target on Douglas no clearance. So if you want them for $.49 cents you need to go to Rocklin Target. The other thing to watch for is $3.00 Target coupon for Glade Scents and spray it says it will be Regional coupon we usually get these and if you have the matching manufacturer coupon for $3.00 off these will be .49cents and they come with the batteries. Last deal like this I got 6 and they have lasted me till this Deal. I am Crossing my fingers we get this coupon.

Coupon Classes

We as in Super S and Super K, have finished our first Coupon Class. I feel it went really well!!! I wish there was time for more questions, but it went well. So I am sure there are much more classes in our futures!!! Let me know if you would like to be in on a class. Went to CVS yet again, I am starting to LOVE my local CVS!!! CVS on Foothills Blvd in Roseville has great customer service, I LOVE this store!!! So today I bought 6 Wisk detergents for buy 1 get 1 free and used 6 $3.00 off coupons from the newspaper. I also bought 4 Sobes on bogo sale and had 2 BOGO coupons which = 4 FREE Sobe's. I got those coupons from sobe.com. Then I bought 2 Nivea mens body wash and used an internet coupon for buy 2 get $4.00 off. Then I had a $5.00 coupon off the Shick razor and on the razor there was a coupon for a free shave gel and then I used $1.00 off manufacturers coupon for shave gel. Then I had a CVS coupon for $4.00 off a $30 purchase and $10.00 ECB's Grand total $9.47. It's like I bought 1 detergent and got the rest free!

Spend $25 dollars on Johnson Baby Wash and various Johnson Baby products @ $2.50 each and get a $10.00 ECB. So here is the deal, buy 10 products and use 10 coupons for $1.00 off. RALEYS DEALS WOW !!!! $.69 snyders pretzels

Last night I was @ Raleys on DOUGLAS Blvd. Yes the one by Target, I love Target I can't stay away!!! They had some major deals going on that I just walked into. My friend had given me a heads up on Aquapods, they are on sale for $1.50 and last week we got $.75 cent coupons in the Sunday paper =$.75 for an 8 pack of kid size water bottles. I went to Raleys for the Arrowhead 24 pack on sale for $3.33 and if you buy 2 you get $2.00 off. Find the coupon at Raleys.com it is their e coupons. When I got there they had tons of peelies on the water for $2.00 off 2 Arrowhead waters. WOW!!!! So 2 packages will cost $6.66 plus your Raleys coupon for $2.00 off so now we are down to $4.66. Use your peelie and we are down to 2 @ $2.66 use 2 of the coupons from Sunday for $.75 Drum roll please!!!! Grand total for (2) 24 packs of water $1.16 plus recycling fee and tax. I don't buy these often but found I love them for sports for the kids. My next deal just hit me in the face when I walked in the store. Snyder pretzels on sale for $1.69 with a peelie for $1.00 off one, so I paid $.69 cents a bag. Run, peelies like these will not last long. Heads up, Raleys @ Lichen is funny about Raleys coupons and Manufacturers coupons. They try and tell me all the time it is one or the other....Print their coupon policy which is located right above their e coupons on their website. I have to keep showing them their coupon policy before they let me use the coupons. The Raleys @ Douglas lets you without a fuss.

Walgreens

In last weekends P&G insert there was a coupon for buy an Old Spice body wash get one FREE. I just went to Walgreens and they had buy one get one half off. So I bought 8 for under $10 dollars :) You pay 2.35 or something for every 2 bottles you buy. You get the full price one free and you buy the 50% off one. Great Deal!!!

Gals the Diaper coupon has reset which means if you printed your limit you can print away again, Go to coupons.com and print coupons for the $3.00 off one Huggies Diapers coupons. Since I have been printing this coupon 2 times from each of my computers I really do not pay more than $3.99 for a pkg of Huggies Diapers. Also I was at winco last night in Antelope, CA and they had 3 shopping baskets full of Diapers for 6.99 some where Huggies, use this coupon 3.99 for a jumbo pkg, because these where the BIG pkgs.

REMINDER

OK It is time to get printing!!!! Just a reminder all the major coupon sites change coupons tomorrow @ the beginning of the month, So go to the three major sites, Red Plum, Smart Source, and Coupons.com. I print of as many copies as I can of stuff I would use. You just never know when that coupon plus a sale might make it FREE. My advice is to get a printing today, so when they change coupons you have your old ones too.

Ball Park Hod Dogs @ SAFEWAY

If you have the coupons from a few weeks ago for $.75 of one package you are in for a deal or if you were one of the lucky ones to score a facebook coupon for $2.00 off a package of Ballpark hot dogs, run over to Safeway. There sale does end tonight but Ballpark hot dogs are $.99 a package. So $.24 a package with your $.75 coupon and 2 packages free with the facebook coupon.

CVS Deals

So my deal could have been done in such a way that I would have spent less out of pocket and had less ECB's. Even a Super Coupon Gal can mess up sometimes, but hey I was helping out a little old man in line. I got a great deal anyhow and got the chance to give some coupons to an older man in front of me, he was so excited....and it made me feel good. So here is my first transaction; 11 cans of Emerald nuts on sale for a $1 and had 11 coupons for $1 off. FREE NUTS. Then 2 Nivea Happy Sensation lotions for $7.99 each. I used 2 $3.00 off coupons and a CVS reusable bag for $.99 Grand total 12.37 w/ tax and received a $5.00 ECB which, if you don't know what this is, you use it like cash on your next purchase at CVS. My next purchase was 4 Nivea cherry lip balm (Got to say I love this stuff!!!) for $1.49 each on sale and had 2 coupons for $2.00 off 2 Nivea lip care. I then got a Venus razor at $9.79 and used a $2.00 off coupon then bought 4 oral b advantage toothbrushes for $3.79 store sale buy one get 50% off 2nd one. So 2 for $3.79 and 2 for $1.89 and I used 2 coupons for buy one get one free and 2 $ .75 off coupons. Then I used my $5 ECB from previous transaction and paid $11.17 and received 10 ECB's back. So I was actually planning on doing them in reverse order and would have saved my self $5.00 out of pocket, but instead I have an extra $5.00 ECB which is fine. I will post pictures shortly

Sunday Inserts

Ok gals, I am excited!!! I have been helping some friends get some good deals in the last month. This is very EXCITING for me watching you get such good deals. So I wanted to give a heads up, this Sundays paper will have Three ads; P&G, Red Plum, and Smart Source. I love that the beginning of the month coupons are aplenty. So I suggest all you new to coupons get yourself a couple copies of this Sundays ad. I can not guarantee what will be in there but usually there are some good razor coupons, also I know there are at least 3 coupons you can use with the promotion at Save Mart for some GREAT prices on Cheez-its, Pop Tarts, and Kelloggs fruit snacks. So run out and Get extra copies or let me know now and I will save you some of my copies. Oh by the way the Dollar store by my house carry's the Sunday paper for a Dollar and it cost 2 times as much next door at Raleys.

Save Mart

There is a hot deal again at Save Mart. Buy 10 special deal Kelloggs products @$2.98 save $10.00 which makes them $1.98 a box, but then use coupons like me and save more. Then at the end of your transaction you receive a $10.00 coupon for your next purchase. I will take pics and post receipts soon. One of my transactions cost me .80 cents for 10 boxes of cinnabon bars. How I got all these boxes of cinnabon bars is by having 10 $1.00 off 1 box of cinnabon bars, which brought the price of $1.89 to .98 a box. Then I used my $10 off your next transaction coupon from my previous transaction. The other Transaction I had 2 $1.00 off cinnabon coupons and 3 coupons for $1.00 off two pop tarts and then a coupon for $1.00 off 2 boxes of Raisin bran. Enjoy

What I did with my $8.00 Kmart coupon

I went to Kmart this morning to spend my $8.00 coupon I received for buying all those Post-Its. This was a nice reward since I used coupons to buy 25 Post-Its for $1.31 in tax. So I found Colgate toothpaste for $2.49 plus they had bonus free toothbrushes. I then had $1.00 off coupons so I bought 6 and payed $1.55 out of pocket. So you might be wondering what I will do with all this toothpaste and stuff I get for FREE. I have donated some of it and will continue too. I think donating to charity is a great thing to do and hope that when you find yourself doing good with your couponing that you too will Donate to people less fortunate and give back to our communities. Today I dropped off 60 Post-its to my childrens School, and they where so Thankful.

WalGreen and Apple juice

I paid $ 4.00 for 6 bottles of Apple juice today. There Motts Apple juice is buy 3 for$5.00. I had 2 coupons that I had found @ Safeway for 2.00 off 2 Motts Apple juices and then I belong to a coupon Train that I found a 3rd coupon in. YEAH!!!!! I love coupon Trains!!! Let me know if you want to start one on this Blog. What you do is I would send out a envelope with 50 coupons, Then the next person gets it and takes the coupons they can use and replaces the ones she took with other coupons and sends it to the next person. It is simple I have a stash of coupons to share!! Let me know what you think...

LOVING TARGET

OK Gals, I went to Target this morning and had a wonderfully nice checker and a patient customer behind me in line. This is why I love Target, the cashiers ROCK in Sacramento CA. Here goes, I bought 3 Shick HYDRO 5 razors, 3 edge shave gels, 6 8ct boxes of Juicy Juice. 2 Sharpie highlighter packs, 8 boxes of crayons, 8 bags of BIC pens, 2 Bic mechanic pencils, and a Dollar spot counter set for my little guys to play with. My Grand total was a whopping $6.02, savings $56.04. I took a picture of the different coupons I used. The only one I left out was a Target coupon for $1.00 off a Bic stationary purchase. I wanted you to get a visual of my coupons but of course I used multiples of each coupon.

Diapers for Cheap @ Rite Aid

Huggies Jumbo diapers, Pull-Ups, and Good Nights are $8.99. Go to rite-aid.com and watch their video to print out a $2.00 off coupon. Then you can use your $3.00 off Huggies coupon from Coupons.com, you will then pay $3.99 for a package of Huggies + tax. Then the cashier will give you a coupon for $2.00 off your next purchase @ Rite Aid. I would turn around and buy another pkg. of Diapers with your $2.00 coupon you just got and use another $3.00 off from coupons.com and get two pkgs for 3.99 each + tax. I use to buy my diapers at Costco but have found paying 3.99 for the smaller pkgs actually saves you money. So I stock up when prices and coupons are good. I usually do not pay more than $3.99 for Diapers anymore. You can do the same, watch for sales and coupons and stock up.

So, I went to Safeway and I bought 3 granola clusters and used (3) $1.00 off coupons. I also bought 5 boxes of sweet and salty granola bars and used (5) .50 cents off coupons. Then I bought 4 Mentos gum and had (2) coupons buy 2 get $1.00 off coupons. Then I bought 8 Progresso soups used Safeway's .99 cent coupon which has no limit. Then I used (4) $.50 cents off 2 Progresso soups coupons. I then used my 3.50 off coupons from a previous granola transaction and my $1.50 off from my fruit snack purchase. My total out of pocket was 8.53 and I received a coupon for $3.50 off my next purchase.

Love My CVS

I went to CVS today and got 14 Right Guard deodorants for a whopping $2 and some change. I will be sharing pictures a little later tonight.

OK, at Walgreens their Right Guard deodorant is BOGO, so use your BOGO coupon from July 25 Red plum and receive 2 Deodorants FREE.

At Safeway they have Progresso soup for .99 cents. Use your buy 2 get .50 cents off and get your soup for .74 cents.

Target has Juicy Juice 8 pack box drinks for 2.00 and there is a Target coupon and manufacturers coupon for $1.00 off 2 so you pay $2.00 for two packs of 8.

OK Gals I went to Rite Aid they have M&M's, 2 bags for $5.00. So you buy 6 bags of M&M's, 4 pretzel M&M's and 2 bags of your choice. Then you use 2 coupons for buy 2 bags get 1 FREE and 4 coupons for $1.00 off a bag of Pretzel M&M's. You end up paying $6.00 for 6 bags. Then I had a RR for $1.00 which made my total $5.00 for 6 bags. I know 6 bags is a lot, but I LOVE M&M's they're my favorite candy in the world and then they put pretzels in them...It is like HEAVEN. Oh and I forgot, you also get a RR for $1.00 off your next purchase at Rite Aid.

Kmart Money Maker

OK guys, Kmart has double coupons till the 14th of August. They double coupons up to $1.00 and you can do up to 5 coupons a day. I have a link at the end of this post for $1 off Post-its. You can print as many as you like and if you buy 15 Post-its, you will get a $4.00 Catalina coupon for what ever you want to buy at Kmart. The Post-its are $1, so there is no need to double that and you get them for free plus the $4 coupon. You do have to pay the tax $1.31 , but it is still a very good deal. Note, the Kmart I went to did not know that they were even doing double coupons. They had to look it up when I asked.

Target FUN for FREE

OK, so my trip cost a little money but my kids have Eczema and want Bubbles in the Tub. They are not allowed any more so they keep dumping full bottles of any soap they can find in the tub when we turn our backs for a second. So I did buy two travel size bottles for $2.00 for their soap so I can limit how much soap they have at one time. If you look at my receipt I spent $6.00 the other $4.00 plus tax was my yogurt for the boys. On this trip I got some free pens, free gum, and free Post-it notes. Then I scored cheap yogurt for my kiddos. The yogurt is on sale for buy 3 at $5 then I had $1 off coupons for each of the yogurts. My yogurt came out to 3 for $2, not a bad price. I had a manufacturer coupon for stride gum buy one get one free then I had a Target coupon for the same. This equals 2 for FREE. The pens I had a manufacturers coupon for $1 off 2 Bic pens, then I had a Target coupon for the same. This equals 2 FREE, I ended up with two sets of these coupons which gave me 4 for FREE. Then I had my Post-it coupons and got those all FREE.
